Key Responsibilities
- Manually sort various recyclable materials (e.g., plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, metals) on a conveyor belt or designated areas.
- Identify and remove contaminants or non-recyclable items from the waste stream.
- Operate basic sorting machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after receiving appropriate training.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to waste handling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general site clean-up and maintenance tasks as required.
