Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with rental inquiries, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Accurately and efficiently process rental agreements, vehicle check-outs, and returns using company software.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections for damages and ensure cleanliness/readiness before and after rentals.
- Clearly explain rental terms, conditions, optional services, and vehicle features to customers.
- Handle customer complaints, resolve issues professionally, and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Manage and confirm reservations, process extensions, and track vehicle availability.
- Actively upsell optional insurance coverage, GPS units, child seats, and vehicle upgrades to meet customer needs and sales targets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rental counter and immediate work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and high customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
