Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and speed.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and offering recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking supplies.
- Accurately handle cash and process card payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Adhere strictly to all local and national liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Identify and refuse service to intoxicated patrons, ensuring a safe environment for all guests.
- Perform efficient bar opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and securing the premises.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and waiting staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on new drink trends, recipes, and product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishes.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, late-night environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg.
- Fluent in English.
