Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef and other kitchen staff with a variety of food preparation tasks.
  • Wash, peel, chop, cut, and prepare a wide range of ingredients including vegetables, fruits, and meats.
  • Portion and present food items according to established recipes and culinary standards.
  • Maintain an impeccably clean and organized kitchen workstation and prep areas.
  • Strictly adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Properly receive, check, and store food deliveries to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
  • Assist with dishwashing, pot washing, and general kitchen cleanliness duties.
  • Support inventory management by reporting stock levels and identifying shortages.
  • Actively learn and follow new recipes and preparation techniques as instructed.
  • Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with the entire kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
