Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with emergency service calls, including water extraction, structural drying, and debris removal.
  • Learn and apply industry-standard techniques for water damage, fire, smoke, and mold remediation.
  • Set up, monitor, and dismantle specialized drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers) and containment barriers.
  • Perform general labour tasks such as demolition, cleaning, and sanitizing affected areas.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
  • Document job site conditions, progress, and scope of work accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
  • Participate actively in all training sessions and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by being respectful, polite, and responsive to client needs.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid G Class Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environments, including those affected by water, mold, or fire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in general labour, construction, or a hands-on trade.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT) or a strong interest in obtaining them.
