As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be the face of our brands, ensuring that products are displayed effectively, stocked appropriately, and priced correctly to maximize visibility and sales. Your day-to-day will involve visiting various retail locations within Bayview Village, strategically arranging merchandise according to planograms, promotional guidelines, and seasonal themes. You’ll be instrumental in creating visually appealing and engaging shopping environments that captivate customers and encourage purchases. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute planograms and merchandising directives with precision and creativity in various retail stores.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed, stocked, organized, and priced accurately.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify out-of-stock items, and assist with replenishment orders as needed.
  • Implement promotional displays and seasonal merchandising updates.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with store management and staff.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports on store conditions, product performance, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing display area.
  • Travel between designated retail locations within the Bayview Village area.
  • Adhere to a flexible work schedule, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and visit frequency.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising principles and retail sales drivers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proven ability to follow planograms and implement visual directives.
  • Reliable access to transportation (personal vehicle preferred) to travel between store locations.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, reporting tools).
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with various product categories (e.g., consumer electronics, cosmetics, apparel).
  • Familiarity with the Bayview Village retail landscape and demographics.
  • Previous experience using merchandising reporting software or mobile applications.
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for creating impactful retail experiences.
