Job Description
This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our Kelowna retail location. The Retail Store Operations Assistant will be the backbone of our daily store activities, ensuring that everything from inventory management to visual merchandising and customer service operates seamlessly. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage inventory, receive shipments, process stock, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient stockroom and back-of-house area.
- Support visual merchandising efforts and ensure product displays are appealing and well-stocked.
- Assist in processing transactions, handling returns, and resolving customer inquiries with professionalism.
- Monitor store cleanliness, safety standards, and overall presentation.
- Support the Store Manager in implementing company policies and operational procedures.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and suggest solutions.
- Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
- Process product transfers and handle inter-store communication regarding stock.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably in an operational or assistant role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering excellent service.

- Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
