Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with product enquiries, selections, and purchases.
- Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store, ensuring products are displayed attractively and the store environment is clean and welcoming.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, unpacking, pricing, and replenishing shelves efficiently.
- Operate the till system accurately, handling cash and card transactions and processing returns/exchanges with professionalism.
- Support the store manager and senior staff with opening and closing procedures, ensuring security and operational readiness.
- Actively promote current promotions and loyalty programs to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues with patience and a problem-solving attitude, escalating when necessary.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic retail setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
