Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper placement.
  • Stock shelves, racks, and display areas, maintaining an appealing and organized sales floor at all times.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, setting up promotional displays and ensuring product signage is correct and up-to-date.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, backroom, and common areas.
  • Support customer service by helping locate products and providing general assistance when needed.
  • Operate basic store equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks or stock pickers (where applicable, with proper training).
  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Process damaged or defective merchandise according to company procedures.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and bending/reaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with inventory management software or POS systems.
  • Prior experience in visual merchandising or display setup.
