Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper placement.
- Stock shelves, racks, and display areas, maintaining an appealing and organized sales floor at all times.
- Assist with visual merchandising, setting up promotional displays and ensuring product signage is correct and up-to-date.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, backroom, and common areas.
- Support customer service by helping locate products and providing general assistance when needed.
- Operate basic store equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks or stock pickers (where applicable, with proper training).
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Process damaged or defective merchandise according to company procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and bending/reaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems.
