Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with inquiries, product location, and selection in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  • Efficiently restock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure products are priced correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including cleaning aisles, shelves, and checkout areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and process incoming inventory shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and managing stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Support store management with various daily operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security standards within the store.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a cohesive work environment.
  • Actively resolve customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise up to 25 lbs.
