Key Responsibilities
- Safely and courteously transport passengers to their requested destinations across Cardiff.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy vehicle, adhering to all safety standards and local regulations.
- Operate the rideshare application efficiently for trip acceptance, navigation, and seamless payment processing.
- Adhere strictly to all UK traffic laws, speed limits, and local driving regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a comfortable, respectful, and pleasant ride experience for every passenger.
- Communicate professionally and politely with passengers and company support staff when needed.
- Proactively manage your personal driving schedule to maximize earning potential and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Assist passengers with luggage and personal belongings with care and professionalism.
- Stay informed about local road conditions, temporary closures, and optimal routes within the Docks area and wider Cardiff.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving License (held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Clean driving record with no major endorsements or penalty points in the last 3 years
- Excellent navigational knowledge of Cardiff and surrounding areas, including the Docks district
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage positively with diverse passengers
- A genuinely customer-centric mindset with a friendly, professional, and helpful demeanor
- Proficiency in using smartphone applications for navigation, communication, and job management
- Access to a reliable vehicle (4-door, less than 10 years old) with current MOT, valid private hire insurance, and road tax (must meet company specific requirements)
- Demonstrable right to work in the UK
