Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all business units (operational, financial, strategic, compliance, cybersecurity, reputational) to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks.
- Analyze complex data and scenarios to quantify potential impacts of identified risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and perform regular reporting on the company's risk exposure to senior management and the board.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate risk management practices into daily operations and strategic planning processes.
- Lead and facilitate risk workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs to foster a robust risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on risk-related matters to support strategic decision-making and project initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging risk trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance the ERM framework.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of progressive experience in risk management, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in risk modeling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement risk policies, procedures, and controls.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
