Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all business units (operational, financial, strategic, compliance, cybersecurity, reputational) to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks.
  • Analyze complex data and scenarios to quantify potential impacts of identified risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and perform regular reporting on the company's risk exposure to senior management and the board.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to integrate risk management practices into daily operations and strategic planning processes.
  • Lead and facilitate risk workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs to foster a robust risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on risk-related matters to support strategic decision-making and project initiatives.
  • Stay current with emerging risk trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance the ERM framework.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in risk management, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in risk modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement risk policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate a wide range of business risks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Financial Engineering).
  • Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), CRISC, or similar.
  • Experience with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software platforms.
  • Project management experience in implementing risk management initiatives.
