Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in comprehensive on-the-job training sessions provided by experienced roofers.
- Assist senior roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various residential and commercial roofing systems.
- Safely handle, transport, and store roofing materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Prepare work sites by setting up safety equipment, clearing debris, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Learn to identify different types of roof damage and assist in their assessment under supervision.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout the project duration.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable and strong work ethic, with a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to various work situations.
- Excellent physical stamina, balance, and agility to work safely at heights and on sloped surfaces.
