Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report any damages, hazards, or repair requirements promptly to the supervisor.
- Ensure all guest requests are handled efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and storage rooms.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain a tidy and well-stocked supply cart.
- Report lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff, front desk, and maintenance teams.
- Handle guest privacy and confidentiality with the utmost discretion.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment (minimum 6 months).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, pull, and bend frequently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe use.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with hotel operating systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
