Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and optimizing daily delivery routes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize routing software and other logistical tools to create and adjust schedules.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other internal teams regarding route changes, delays, and issues.
- Monitor real-time progress of deliveries and respond proactively to unforeseen circumstances.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and delivery performance data.
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to transportation challenges and operational bottlenecks.
- Support the logistics team with administrative tasks as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in route planning and execution.
