Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring smooth workflow, effective staffing, and adherence to company policies.
- Drive exceptional customer service standards, resolving customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching, and deliver performance feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and store presentation to create an inviting and visually appealing shopping environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and implement strategies to optimize store performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, security procedures, and loss prevention protocols.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling as required.
- Process transactions accurately, handle cash, and maintain secure financial records.
- Act as a keyholder, responsible for opening and closing the store securely.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a retail supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with a focus on motivation and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and operational KPIs.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Retail Management or Business.

- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitor activities in Hucknall/Nottinghamshire.
