Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly, offer refreshments, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
- Assist stylists with preparing clients for services, including shampooing, conditioning, and towel drying hair.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon, including sweeping hair, sanitizing stations, and cleaning tools.
- Manage laundry, ensuring fresh towels and capes are always available.
- Restock retail products and professional supplies, monitoring inventory levels.
- Prepare color mixtures and other chemical treatments as directed by stylists.
- Support the front desk by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments when needed.
- Learn and practice basic styling techniques, product application, and client consultation skills.
- Actively participate in training sessions and educational workshops.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the salon.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior salon experience required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
