Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Handle food ingredients safely and efficiently, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons warmly, taking accurate orders, and responding to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and toasters safely and competently after receiving training.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, monitoring supplies, and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment during busy periods.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, if required, and maintain a tidy checkout area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance, dress code, and food safety.
