Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming all designated areas.
  • Sanitize and restock restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas regularly.
  • Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste properly, and replace liners.
  • Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, industrial vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting needs to management.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with special cleaning projects, event setup, and other duties as assigned by management.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation regulations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions meticulously.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning agents.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs), and repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a sanitation, custodial, or housekeeping role (e.g., in industrial, commercial, or hospitality settings).
  • Knowledge of safety data sheets (SDS) for cleaning chemicals.
  • Familiarity with operating floor buffers, carpet extractors, or other industrial cleaning machinery.
