Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks across designated areas, including offices, common areas, washrooms, kitchens, and public spaces.
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Empty trash receptacles, transport waste to disposal areas, and manage recycling programs.
- Sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to meet health and safety standards, paying close attention to high-touch points.
- Clean and disinfect washroom facilities, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors; clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding the use of chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within the allocated timeframe.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
