Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor sawmill machinery, including saws, edgers, trimmers, and other relevant equipment.
- Sort, grade, and stack lumber and other wood products according to specified dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform routine quality checks on all outgoing products to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Load and unload raw timber materials and finished wood products using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations at all times.
- Identify and promptly report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents and promote productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and strength to handle repetitive and demanding tasks.
