Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Security Guards in patrols of assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to detect and identify suspicious activities or persons.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, reporting findings to the shift supervisor.
- Control access to buildings and properties, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
- Provide clear and concise written reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and unauthorized activity.
- Enforce property rules and regulations in a fair and professional manner.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist in emergency situations, including fire, medical, and security incidents, following established procedures.
- Maintain a high level of situational awareness and report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
Required Skills
- Ability to observe and recall details accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring systems.
- Strong ethical conduct and integrity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- Basic understanding of security principles and practices.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security-related role or customer service.

- Completion of a recognized security training program.
- Knowledge of local security laws and regulations.
