Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily security monitoring activities, analyzing logs and alerts for potential threats.
  • Assist senior analysts in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
  • Learn and apply basic incident response procedures and playbooks.
  • Support vulnerability scanning and assist in the analysis of scan results.
  • Contribute to the documentation of security procedures, policies, and incident reports.
  • Gain exposure to various security tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and firewalls.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with IT and other teams to understand system architecture and potential security risks.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
