Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to identify potential threats or incidents.
- Control access to the facility, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergency calls, and suspicious activities, following established protocols.
- Investigate disturbances and incidents, completing detailed reports and documenting observations.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently.
- Collaborate with local emergency services as needed during critical situations.
- Operate and maintain security equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to security best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security role (e.g., security guard, security officer, or similar).
- Valid Security Guard License (or equivalent certification) for Quebec.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment and access control systems.
- Proficiency in incident report writing and accurate record-keeping.
- Sound judgment and ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Physical fitness to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies.

- First Aid and CPR certification.
