As a Security System Installer Helper, you will work closely with our experienced technicians, assisting in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of various security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm panels, and structured cabling. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in the installation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Run and pull cables (CAT5e/6, low voltage) through conduits, walls, and ceilings.
- Mount devices such as cameras, card readers, and motion detectors according to technical specifications.
- Perform basic wiring, termination, and connection of system components.
- Help with testing and troubleshooting newly installed systems under supervision.
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles.
- Ensure job sites are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Learn and apply best practices in security system installation and service.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor on client premises.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively under supervision.
