In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of our automation testing strategy, leading efforts to integrate automated testing seamlessly into our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks and scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive QA strategies and test plans for new features and products.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to define testable requirements and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects, track issues to resolution, and provide detailed reports.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide early feedback on testability and quality implications.
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new testing tools, technologies, and strategies to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and high quality across all product releases.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# for writing robust automation scripts.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Extensive experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, Karate DSL).
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Proficiency in SQL for database testing and data validation.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Certification.
  • Experience with mobile test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium).
  • Familiarity with security testing principles and tools.
