Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, and track all service requests and incidents using our ITSM ticketing system.
  • Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Assist users with account management, password resets, software installations, and configuration.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT specialists or appropriate teams following defined procedures.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles, documentation, and user guides.
  • Educate users on best practices for technology usage and security awareness.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to ensure operational stability.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as directed by management.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support, help desk, or service desk role.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, Zendesk).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Wi-Fi configurations.
  • Experience with remote support tools and methodologies.
  • Exposure to Active Directory or other user management systems.
