Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and execute complex technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications for scenic elements and structures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, plywood, laminates, and basic metal components with high precision.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, routers, and sanders.
- Construct and install temporary and permanent set pieces, displays, and structural elements for events, attractions, and retail environments.
- Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic fidelity.
- Perform on-site adjustments, modifications, and repairs as needed during installation and dismantle phases.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and site-specific regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Manage and maintain inventory of tools and materials, ensuring proper storage and readiness for projects.
- Contribute to problem-solving and innovative solutions for construction challenges.
- Ensure final assembly and finishing meets specified quality standards and deadlines.
Required Skills
