Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate picking, packing, and labeling of outbound shipments.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Schedule freight pickups with various carriers and track shipment statuses.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records, both physical and digital.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, clients, and freight forwarders regarding shipment status and issues.
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies, damages, and delays.
- Ensure compliance with all national and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment if certified (training may be provided).
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping, receiving, or logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 25 kg.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
