Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Verify the accuracy of counts, quantities, and product identification, noting any discrepancies.
- Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging goods according to customer orders.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (such as pallet jacks and forklifts) safely, with training provided.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and general warehouse organization.
- Document and report any damaged goods, short shipments, or other inventory issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and using inventory systems.
