You will gain hands-on experience with various warehouse processes, from unpacking shipments and verifying contents to preparing outgoing orders and maintaining meticulous records. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments against invoices or other records to verify accuracy of orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging goods for transport.
- Load and unload materials and products by hand or using basic material handling equipment (training provided).
- Maintain accurate inventory records by updating logs and documenting all product movements.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper storage of materials.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with shipments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and measurement.
