Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of shoe and leather goods repairs, including resoling, re-heeling, stitching, and patching.
  • Replace and repair components such as zippers, buckles, and straps with precision and care.
  • Inspect items to diagnose issues, determine repair methods, and provide accurate cost and time estimates to customers.
  • Operate and maintain specialized shoe repair machinery, including finishers, stitchers, and pressers.
  • Clean, polish, and condition leather goods to restore their appearance and extend their lifespan.
  • Manage inventory of repair materials, ensuring adequate stock of soles, heels, leather, and adhesives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to all workshop safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, offering expert advice on shoe care and maintenance.
  • Ensure all repairs meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Shoe Repairer or Cobbler.
  • Expertise in various shoe and leather repair techniques, including resoling, re-heeling, and stitching.
