Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain a range of kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, fryers, griddles, and ovens.
- Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are clean, sanitary, and organized according to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet our high standards.
- Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle special requests and dietary restrictions with attention to detail and care.
- Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, verifying contents against invoices.
- Maintain a calm and efficient demeanor during high-volume periods, prioritizing tasks to ensure smooth service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Short Order Cook or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations (e.g., FoodSafe Level 1 certification).

- Excellent knife skills and general food preparation techniques.
