Key Responsibilities
- Provide diligent assistance to skilled tradespeople and construction workers across various site-based tasks.
- Execute general labour duties, including but not limited to carrying materials, efficiently loading and unloading supplies, and moving equipment.
- Actively maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly clearing debris, sweeping designated areas, and ensuring the proper disposal of waste materials.
- Operate fundamental hand and power tools under direct supervision, strictly adhering to all established safety guidelines and protocols.
- Support comprehensive site setup and efficient teardown activities, encompassing the erection of temporary structures and the precise preparation of work areas.
- Consistently adhere to all company safety policies and rigorous procedures, including the mandatory wearing of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Promptly report any identified safety hazards or unforeseen incidents to supervisors without delay.
- Assist with minor repair and maintenance tasks as explicitly directed by senior team members.
- Proactively learn and effectively apply new skills and cutting-edge construction techniques through immersive on-the-job training sessions.
- Foster a collaborative spirit and work effectively within the team to achieve all project goals and meet critical deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to safely lift and proficiently carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) on a regular basis.
