Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Ski Instructors to join our team for the upcoming winter season in Lakeview, Mississauga. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about skiing, have a talent for teaching, and thrive in a dynamic, outdoor environment. As a Seasonal Ski Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ski lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced enthusiasts looking to refine their technique. Your primary goal will be to ensure a safe, fun, and educational experience for every student, helping them build confidence and improve their skiing abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective ski lessons to individuals and groups of varying ages and skill levels.
- Assess students' abilities and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and styles.
- Ensure the safety of all students at all times, adhering strictly to company safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Educate students on proper ski equipment usage, mountain safety, and slope etiquette.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their technique and build confidence.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, fostering a positive and welcoming learning environment.
- Monitor weather and snow conditions, making informed decisions to ensure student comfort and safety.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development programs.
- Assist with equipment setup and general operational tasks as needed.

Required Skills
- Minimum CSIA Level 1 certification or equivalent international certification.
- Proven ability to ski proficiently and demonstrate a variety of ski techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and motivate diverse groups.
- Strong understanding of ski safety rules and first aid principles.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying winter weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience teaching or coaching, preferably in a winter sport setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- CSIA Level 2 certification or higher.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with children in an instructional setting.
- Knowledge of local terrain and resort specifics.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
