Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Justice Advocate to join our growing remote team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on social justice issues, including systemic inequalities, human rights violations, and policy gaps.
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies and campaigns to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Draft policy briefs, position papers, reports, and other communications to influence public opinion and policy-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, community organizations, and government bodies to advance shared social justice goals.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, webinars, and public forums to educate and engage communities on critical social justice topics.
- Monitor legislative developments and policy changes relevant to social justice and human rights, providing timely insights and recommendations.
- Represent Hiring.zycto at conferences, meetings, and public events to advocate for our mission and objectives.
- Support the development of educational materials and resources to empower individuals and communities.
- Provide advice and guidance on best practices for fostering inclusive environments within organizations and communities.
- Measure and report on the impact of advocacy efforts, adapting strategies as needed for maximum effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social justice advocacy, community organizing, policy analysis, or related fields.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth research and synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking and persuasive writing.
- Strong understanding of systemic social justice issues, human rights, and equity principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in project management and campaign coordination.
- High level of empathy, cultural competence, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Political Science, Sociology, Law, Human Rights, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience with digital advocacy tools and social media campaigns.
