Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Design and implement engaging, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Build and optimise high-performance native or hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient querying.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, bringing forward new technologies and solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, C#)
- Strong experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Demonstrable experience in mobile app development (Native Android/iOS, React Native, Flutter)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
