Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs, demonstrating a commitment to learning and skill development.
- Assist in the safe and efficient installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial rooftops and ground mounts.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Handle and transport solar equipment and materials to job sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems as part of training.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project completion within designated timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, roofing, or general labor.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or willingness to learn.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Working at Heights certification (we can provide training if not currently held).
