This role is physically demanding and requires a comfort with heights and various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided training programs, demonstrating a commitment to learning and skill development.
  • Assist in the safe and efficient installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial rooftops and ground mounts.
  • Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
  • Handle and transport solar equipment and materials to job sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems as part of training.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project completion within designated timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
  • Punctual and reliable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, roofing, or general labor.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems or willingness to learn.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Working at Heights certification (we can provide training if not currently held).
