Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential athletes across various sports disciplines.
- Negotiate and secure lucrative endorsement deals, sponsorships, and playing contracts on behalf of clients.
- Provide comprehensive career management, including strategic planning, financial guidance (in collaboration with financial advisors), and personal brand development.
- Act as a primary liaison between clients, teams, leagues, media, and sponsors.
- Manage client schedules, travel arrangements, and public appearances as needed.
- Advise clients on media relations, public image, and crisis management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, league regulations, and legal developments affecting professional sports.
- Prepare and review legal documents and contracts, ensuring compliance and favorable terms for clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities and expand the client roster.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Sports Agent or in a related athlete representation role.
- Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and securing endorsements.
- Exceptional understanding of sports business, marketing, and legal frameworks.
- Strong network within the professional sports industry (teams, leagues, brands).
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
