Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly organized and energetic Staffing Coordinator to join our bustling agency in South Core, Toronto. Your days will be dynamic, encompassing everything from scheduling interviews and managing candidate pipelines to preparing onboarding documents and maintaining our robust applicant tracking system. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS) with accuracy and diligence.
- Schedule interviews, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars for recruiters, candidates, and clients.
- Screen incoming resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates for various roles.
- Communicate effectively with candidates to provide updates, gather necessary information, and ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with the onboarding process for successful placements, including preparing offer letters and background checks.
- Support recruiters in sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates through various channels.
- Handle general administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations of the recruitment desk.
- Prepare reports on recruitment activities, candidate pipeline, and placement metrics.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role, preferably within a staffing agency or HR department.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or CRM software.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Direct experience with candidate sourcing and pre-screening.
- Familiarity with various recruitment methodologies and best practices.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
