Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise and supplies with accuracy.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom or warehouse area at all times.
- Assist with routine inventory counts and participate in regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and package items efficiently for outgoing shipments or internal distribution.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after proper training and certification.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages of inventory to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory management.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong sense of responsibility.
