Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately process transactions, including cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and products are neatly displayed.
- Receive, unpack, and organise new stock deliveries, checking for discrepancies and damages.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently and courteously, adhering to company policies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store, including cash reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience in a retail setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash.
