Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, noting discrepancies.
- Accurately store and organise materials within designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and precisely, preparing them for dispatch according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system, including performing regular cycle counts and assisting with annual physical inventories.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely and proficiently, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks; forklift operation may be required (certification a plus).
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Collaborate effectively with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and drivers to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.
- Report any damaged, missing, or misplaced inventory to the supervisor promptly and assist in resolving issues.
Required Skills
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications for data entry and inventory management.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25kg, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a warehouse, distribution, or inventory control role.

- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent vocational qualification).
- Experience with health and safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
