As a Surveyor Assistant, you will become an integral part of our field crews, assisting in the operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art surveying equipment, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of daily fieldwork. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Surveyors in operating and maintaining various surveying instruments (GPS, total stations, levels, data collectors).
- Perform physical tasks such as setting up tripods, holding prism poles, driving stakes, and clearing brush to establish clear lines of sight.
- Accurately record field notes, measurements, and other data, ensuring precision and clarity.
- Assist with the calibration and routine inspection of equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies while in the field.
- Transport equipment to and from job sites in a safe and organized manner.
- Assist in performing basic calculations and data entry as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the field and company vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and site personnel.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
