Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and application issues, primarily through ticketing systems, email, and phone.
  • Log, track, and manage all support requests and incidents using our help desk software, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides to contribute to our knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and IT specialists to resolve more complex issues and learn advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to expand technical skills and stay current with industry trends.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their issues, provide clear instructions, and offer excellent customer service.
  • Assist with basic network monitoring and routine system checks to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT-related field preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated strong interest in information technology and a foundational understanding of computer systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any prior customer service experience, formal or informal.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or help desk software.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Experience with remote support tools.
