Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior tax preparers in the collection and organization of client financial information and documentation.
- Input data accurately into tax preparation software for various types of tax returns (e.g., T1, T2, T4, T5).
- Prepare working papers and schedules to support tax return calculations.
- Review tax documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Canadian tax laws.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and maintaining client records with strict confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with clients to request missing information or clarify details under supervision.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations through continuous learning and training.
- Support the team with general office duties as required to ensure smooth operations.
