Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant ride.
- Maintain a clean and well-kept company vehicle at all times, conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Operate GPS and dispatch systems efficiently for route optimization, passenger pickup, and drop-off.
- Collect fares accurately and process payments using company-provided systems, ensuring transparency.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding passenger pick-ups, drop-offs, and any unforeseen issues or delays.
- Handle passenger inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously.
- Be knowledgeable about Pembroke Pines and surrounding Broward County areas to offer efficient and timely routes.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to taxi services.
Required Skills
- Valid Florida Class E Driver's License.
- Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
- Excellent knowledge of Pembroke Pines, FL, and surrounding areas (Broward County).
- Proficiency with GPS devices and smartphone applications for navigation and dispatch.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional driving experience (taxi, ride-share, delivery, or commercial driving).
- Familiarity with various mobile payment processing systems.
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages is a significant plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle checks or troubleshooting.
