Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
  • Efficiently coordinate and manage ride requests using our dispatch systems and navigation tools.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle, conducting daily pre-shift checks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring a comfortable experience.
  • Process payments accurately, whether cash, card, or through app-based systems.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Laurencekirk and surrounding Aberdeenshire routes and landmarks.
  • Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatch, and fellow team members.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management.
  • Adhere to strict timelines and schedules to ensure punctuality for all bookings.

Required Skills

  • Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Current Private Hire (PCO) or Hackney Carriage Licence issued by a relevant local authority, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent knowledge of Laurencekirk and the broader Aberdeenshire geographical area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient demeanor.
