Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Provide first-level technical support for internal employees, addressing hardware, software, and network issues, and escalating complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Coordinate with various departments to schedule and implement system updates, patches, and software deployments, minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring proper tracking, allocation, and lifecycle management.
  • Document operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations to create a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including setting up technical access, workstations, and retrieving equipment.
  • Participate in testing new software and hardware solutions to ensure compatibility, functionality, and adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within tech operations.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of IT systems, computer hardware, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in common office software suites (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace).
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities for clear and concise interactions.

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals, or Google IT Support Professional Certificate.
