Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, FAQs, and online help content.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and support teams to understand product features and functionality, translating complex information into easily digestible content.
- Develop and implement content strategies and information architecture for various documentation platforms.
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to company style guides and branding.
- Manage documentation projects from inception through delivery, ensuring timely completion and alignment with product development cycles.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and content quality.
- Research and adopt new technical writing tools and methodologies to improve the documentation experience.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional technical writing experience in a software or technology environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong grasp of grammar, style, and syntax.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, Confluence, DITA XML).
- Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
